Will he still make money off the show even if it continues without him? I sure hope not. They need to just end the show if ties aren’t being completely cut

 

while charges were brought in 2020, it looks like everything was sealed until Jan 12 of this year. My guess is that they were able to see the unsealed docs and basically were like "it's obvious he did it"

 

at a comedy show in la the other night I overheard two writers from the show gossiping about it a little bit. Sounds like they knew roiland was a creep and an alcoholic but all the other stuff blindsided them, and that adult swim was looking to recast the roles.

 

I am not looking forward to internet discourse when the next episode or season eventually comes out. No matter how good or bad it is, it's going to be "Would have been better if Roiland was still here!!!"

 

Just kill Morty off and call the show Rick and Summer or something

 

So they are going to get someone else to do the voices? That's going to take some getting used to.

 

He voices Rick too though. Make it the Jerry show.

Good. The voices will take some time to get used to sure, but I fully expect the show to basically improve (imo) with Harmon as the main writer now. Less annoying improv rants and more of that existential dread.

 

There are a million people on tik tok who can do the voices perfectly, I'm not concerned

it would also be in the spirit of the show and way funnier if all of a sudden he has like an Australian accent

Generally Reddit is bad but sometimes it has some good jokes on it

i meant since harmon will arguably have more of R&M on his plate now

just have an impersonator voice them going into a dimension where they have new voices and boom you find new actors that don’t sound like him

 

Roiland hasn’t wrote or directed the show for several seasons, correct? Is/was he kind of like Seth Macfarlane where he just did the voices?
