This one was kind of all over the place but I laughed a lot. Glad the whole family was in it for once

 

It was almost treated as a throwaway detail, but the implications of Rick insisting that that wasn't God, it was "a Zeus" had my mind racing lol. Like, implying that there are multiple "Zeuses" out there all impregnating random beings/planets and generally causing chaos.

 

"Young, dumb, and orbiting the sun"

 

Not a fan of the episode at all, thought it was pretty boring and already forgot some of it

(And yeah, weakest of the past 4 for sure )

 

It was fun, but man that fight scene felt so drawn out and boring for some reason. I was bored watching rick fight god, that's a problem.

 

this was ok. humor and sharpness felt far below the usual standard. first one in a long time where i felt no urge to see it again

 

yes. yes it was. this is what a possible top 3 episode was followed up with

 

Kinda the worst ep since the Beth imaginary world one. Some funny bits though and I liked most of the "a Zeus" stuff. I was drunk, but when the fight just kept going I was fairly amused

Looks like the 9th episodes are gonna be the weak ones

 

They’ve done extended Rick fist fights before, so even though he’s ostensibly fighting a literally god it just didn’t feel that amusing lol. It would need to top his s3 fight with the president

 

I was drunk watching this and had to be reminded that I actually watched this last episode. Very forgettable.

Damn, depressing ending huh!! Maybe both are actually clones??????

 

This was fucking great, I know the show literally made fun of fans wanting serialization but I loved all of it this episode, feels like we really got some closure on certain things. Absolutely hilarious too (for some reason the biggest laugh for me was when Rick was invisible and Jerry touched his balls and Rick was like "he grazed them", Roiland's delivery was so fucking funny there)

This season had more ups and downs than usual for this show but the highs were still among the show's best

 

I'm glad the writers are smart enough to know that Rick should continue to be miserable for constantly fucking up his relationships

 

holy shit was that a Don't Look Now reference? of all the fucking deep cuts they could drop hahah

 

Good finale. Had almost forgotten about PP, so I'm glad they brought that back.

 

Fantastic finale, one of the best of the season
