New season is 10 eps, as expected. 'Rick and Morty' creators give first season 4 interview: 'It will never be this long again'
Excited but I thought season three was easily the weakest so idk I should rewatch the entire show at some point tho it's been a while
S3 had a lot of great moments and sharp writing but the overarching story didn’t quite have a huge impact and it was a little inconsistent imo Also Pickle Rick rules
Season 3 was great. Really the only episode of the bunch that was on the weaker side was the finale, but even that was still a good episode. And yeah, Pickle Rick rules and won the Emmy for a reason.
Pretty much my only complaint about this show is the fanbase, which really isn't even the show's fault.
Yeah I'm still not holding that against the show. Dan and Justin have never encouraged any of the worst elements of the fanbase, in fact they've spoken out against things like the Szechuan Sauce meltdown in the past, so it's really not fair to put that criticism on them or the show in any way.
Season 3 is great. The citadel episode, the Szechuan episode, vindicators, pickle Rick. All top tier. It’s front-loaded though. The last few episodes after the citadel one are all on the weaker end.
