I just bought a bunch of stuff from Trader Joe’s to make meals for the week. I just need to find the time to actually do it lol
Hello and welcome to another episode of Chorus.FM. The place where the likes don’t matter and every thread turns into food talk
I work at a grocery store and I don't even cook. It's pure sandwiches, ramen and fast food. I'm also terrible.
I'm probably older than ya'll, and I didn't cook at home much when I was younger either, someday you will cook at home all week and be old and boring!! Someday!
Dude last semester I wasn’t working and I would go out drinking with my friends at least twice every weekend. At the time I literally lived one house away from a McDonalds, across the street from a Carl’s Jr., and around the corner from a Taco Bell and a Denny’s. A drunk person’s heaven, no doubt, but god damn it was such a challenge to get through there if I was on a healthy kick and intoxocated lol
I would love to cook tbh. I legitimately just don’t feel like I have the energy most of the time between work and school.
start with just like... seasoned chicken breasts on the stove top, with sliced avocado or something simple. Stuff like that is super simple, quick, and still tastes great
It moves so fast that I get overwhelmed. I am ALL ABOUT food though, so I probably should spend more time in there. I'm making a turkey burger melt tonight and I'm sure ya'll would love to see pics
well ya'll are making me crave it even though the roommate and I already decided on frozen pizza for dinner accurate sum up of my eating habits hahah. nah, I used to eat soo much fast food because that was my only option. now I still eat pretty terribly but its still better than back then. and I live within 5 minutes of a mcdonalds, wendys, taco bell, checkers, chipotle, burger king, dunkin donuts, and moes. Like its all around me. Lol. But lately I've actually been not into it bc I'm not feeling great afterwards. I have been eating it way less.
Worked there part time (less than 25 hours a week) and couldn’t work a full time job because I was in school.
I had a friend the worked at McDonald’s in high school, became a shift manager in 6 months and made decent spending money. Apparently they’re pretty good about scholarships and stuff too
my friend's dad was a manager at mcdonalds so he made her work there in high school. She now is a manager of her own Mcdonalds so that is wild.
There are different tiers of fast food though. Best of the absolute trash? Probably. But certainly not better than In N Out
