Lol wut. I couldn’t believe that to be real and just looked it up. Apparently that sub, and anything related, got deleted. That isn’t to say there isn’t other awful stuff on there but just FYI.
Well hey, that's good news at least. Guess I can't hate on them for that anymore. Yeah obv there will always be terrible things on the site with a user base that large, but that sub in particular was the straw that broke the camel's back for sure
Reddit is such a huge and varied site that I find it hard to believe that people calling the entire site shit have spent much time there
anyone who has spent any amount of time on the internet in general knows it's thrash though finished the first five episodes of season 1 and i feel safe in saying that this show is not for me
Reddit, much like the internet, is more garbage than God can handle and as much shit as the devil could ever eat
Someone should me a reddit page where men who can't get dates complain together about how evil women are. That is all I really know about the website.
Incel or volcel? I rewatched the finale and liked it a bit more this time. Rick started the season triumphantly terrorizing Morty about getting rid of Jerry and taking over, and ended the season pretending to be a different Rick to make nice with the president and get back in good with his family. Hmmm.
I like the shift in dynamics between the characters that occurred by the end of the season. I've seen many people saying this was nothing more than a wasted season and that everything is right back to where it was in season 1. Which is obviously nowhere near the case at all.
I found a subreddit last night called r/theempiredidnothingwrong and it’s probably one of the funnier SW related things I’ve seen recently. Beyond that, I use Reddit for sports and niche stuff.
Character development and arches aside, how can it be a wasted season if every episode was quality and enjoyable? Sometimes "fans" are too much.
Wasted in terms of character development. Like, nothing mattered because the show "reset" at the end, when in reality nothing of the sort happened. Unless "reset" is so superficial as to mean "Beth and Jerry are back together" without any regard to the details surrounding their reunion or any of the other characters' changes throughout the season.
I had no idea there was this corner of fans who acted like this towards the show until I saw all this McDonald’s bullshit. Fuck these people, I won’t let their shitty attitudes ruin a great show.
Hahaha I said character development aside! We still got a great season of episodes that are funny, creative and fresh. I can never see that as a waste just because the characters took directions I didn't want. It may be different if it was a straight drama and not a comedy cartoon with elements of drama. To get into the character development though, I kind of like they went they way they did. This way we can get back to the adventures that were in season 1 and 2 and not get bogged down with Jerry and Beth's marriage crisis. I thought Beth's clone scare making her realize she loves her family more than being like Rick was a good way to reset things.
If it's interesting enough, stuff from Reddit ends up on Twitter/FB/IG anyway, so I have no real need for it. Plus I hate people in real life anyway, don't need more reasons to hate them
man this thread got fucking weird "Hey Joel, do you like Rick and Morty?" "yeah, it's brilliant" "would you punch someone in a fast food lobby over a gimmicky nugget sauce?" "no" That is the only way that conversation would ever need to go
Social media has so many uses but it makes so many people responsible for things I enjoy into deeply unlikable people.
there have always been a bunch of questionable things in his shows that have been excused as "self aware" but still is definitely troubling rewatched the first two seasons of community and there are definitely a bunch of jokes that are very weird to hear
