I know Jerry hasn't been in this season much but I feel like it's been a while since Summer got a good episode too

 

Episode 2 this season was the last real Summer focus, do wish she went on an adventure since then

 

Episode 2 had me thinking it'd be a pretty Summer heavy season, surprised it mostly wasn't.

 

She was a major factor in the premiere too, more Summer would be great. But still a great season.

Surprised he didn’t mention The Ricks Must Be Crazy, that’s the best episode of the series.

 

Great episode - what the hell was that Stone Cold Steve Austin line Rick came out with?! So funny. Beth is great, Jerry is great etc. etc.
Hoping for a little bit more from the finale though, so the writers saying this next episode wasn't intended to be a finale has dampened my expectations ever so slightly

 

That is the best episode by a pretty wide margin.

 

so I had a pretty hard bias against this show and never was interested (may have deffffinitely been judgmental without any proper reasoning ha) but I have watched most of this most recent season and I do dig it. Going back and watching the first 2 seasons now

 

I imagine the awful fanbase probably turns a lot of potential fans off actually watching

 

The Ricks Must Be Crazy was the episode that made everything just click for me. When the soldier sees his dead son I was in awe

 

I said this in the news thread with the Dan Harmon article, but I legitimately had no idea Rick and Morty was known for having a shitty fanbase until like two weeks ago. I feel like unless you're deep into Reddit or Twitter, it's not really a big deal.

 

I had no idea either until everyone started talking about it because thankfully I'm not around those types

 

Yeah, I think the show’s popularity has skyrocketed this season, bringing more of those people out of the woodwork.

absolutely. But i also disliked it prior to that. I had only seen one episode and I saw it like multiple times and was just not into it, I thought it was dumb.
And like most cartoons, it is dumb sometimes. but its hilarious other times too.

 

Yeah all of the crazy intertwining theories people made about the show were fun at first but got taken way too far. Now "you have to be a genius to understand Rick and Morty" is a meme used against the show (primarily by people that had a pre-existing dislike for it) and that really bums me out. The show doesn't deserve to have stuff like his attached to it

As someone who used to work and attend many comic conventions and stuff, R&M fans have just about replaced Doctor Who fans as my least favorite fandom to deal with.

 

I’m more psyched that McDonalds has chicken tenders again. Chicken Selects were good shit.

 

Same but both times I've gotten them they had me pull to the side. Like wtf guys you don't have these tenders on deck ready to go?

 

Lol, when I was 18 I worked at McDonalds and we allllways had to ask people to wait for those because no one would order them so we barely had em ready. I ate them every day at work haha
