Watched Pickle Rick again last night. For whatever reason, it cracks me up so damn much that you can hear Justin sticking his tongue out as he voices the dialogue when Rick is maneuvering his mecha-roach while talking to that first rat.
Great review and I really can't stress how much that last scene with them all in the car got me feeling the bad feelings again. Like god damn, 'let's drink instead of address our problems' is like my family's unofficial motto. Honestly I think this might be the first time I actually felt anger toward Beth and Rick. Jerry fucking sucks but he loves his kids and he's willing to stand up to Rick and Rick's manipulation (even if the ultimatum was really, really dumb).
Yeah I was left with the same feeling, like I was really hoping by the end of thia episode we'd start to see some kind of meaningful change in Beth's attitude towards Rick. This episode really absolved Jerry entirely, they've set Beth up as the really unhealthy element of the relationship.
They're both unhealthy, usually the focus on Jerry but its been a problem for the two of them this whole series
Yep, they're unhealthy for each other for multiple reasons. The failed relationship is on both parties.
oh my god. this show is outperforming itself week by week. this is like golden-era simpsons good. every line is a joke and the plots are just unbelievably tight. this is like the literal definition of awesome
Just making sure, part of the joke is vindicators 1 never actually appeared on the show, right? Or did i miss an episode?
Yup, this one was fucking fantastic too. Pretty cool seeing Logic in there too, I know he's huge now but he grew up literally 10 minutes away from me so I still find it hard to believe how big he's actually gotten
Glad everyone on here is enjoying this season because I've already seen the artificial backlash start in other parts of the internet and it's really making my blood boil.
