Also Sully fucking rules and I’ll brook no argument on this.

 

Looking forward to this. The ESPN 30 for 30 short was a great point to put the story in perspective. It was originally planned for Jonah Hill to play Jewel with Leo DiCaprio playing his lawyer. Yet Paul Walter is perfect casting.

 

Seems like too quick of a turnaround for this to be good? And the mule suuuucked.

 

Looks better than I was expecting, should've gotten a better title though. I had to refresh my memory of what happened and, man, they really did him wrong.

 

I'm not familiar with this story at all but that's a great trailer, definitely interested in this

 

Man this makes me feel old.

 

I’m only familiar with the story because Doughboys spent like half an episode talking about it on Tuesday

Wasn’t Jonah Hill originally attached to star in this?

 

yeah he and Leo were supposed to star but are just producing now

 

It makes sense Jonah and Leo would be the more bankable stars but Paul Walter Hauser is a much better resemblance. Also, as a kid I remember him in the news and it’s crazy how old he looked back then to my youthful perspective but at the time of the event both he and Hauser now are younger than me.

 

This seems more in line with Sully than The 15:17 to Paris or The Mule so that gives me hope it might actually be good

Can’t believe Clint Eastwood is turning 90 next year.

 

You know, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve really grown to hate that we as Americans glamorize unsafe bullshit like this.

 

oh for sure who knows how many people he was making risk their life for minimum wage

 

I just wish Eastwood would go back to directing films not based on a true story, my favourite films from him have been a work of fiction and I don't know why he has become so fixated on doing these types of film.

 

Feels like Sully erasure to me.
