hate the album title
I’m not sure tbh
Do you know what it means? It means executioner/hangman.
Yeah, spanish right?
Yeah it is. I don’t know, I think it’s a great title.
Meh. Idk. I just don’t like the sound of it. Im still gonna probably love the album tho haha
It's also the name of a bar in LA
Not sure how I missed this thread.
But yeah this album is almost certainly named after the bar.
So ready for it. My girlfriend showed me him and got me super into Margot and him
Sweet. When did this happen? Are you caught up on all his material?
Dope. Loved his first one.
A little over a month and a half ago, I’m finally caught up now.
Preorders should be up sometime today, right?
Hope so. Has it been two weeks since that announcement?
Exactly 2 weeks today. Wonder how the Patreon exclusive preorder will be different
Yeah I’m curious as well. I imagine first dibs and hopefully a limited variant.
Delayed “by a week or two.” Womp womp.
Boo. Good to know though. He is live streaming through Patreon right now, but the sound and video is pretty bad. Had to turn it off after a couple minutes.
Ten tracks, 37 minutes total, release on the first week of May.
He also just listed the tracks that will be on this. I don't think he listed them in order, though. Gene, Beekeeper, Minefield (he mentioned this would probably be the single), Olive Oyl, A Woman Who Can't Say No, Howlin' Heart, Something Wicked, Strange, Tornado Dreams, and "a fucked up version" of Porno Teens.
Obviously excited to hear all of them, but especially excited to hear the ones that he hasn't played live via internet sessions (Beekeeper, Minefield, A Woman Who Can't Say No, and Tornado Dreams).
Richard just posted a sneak peek of the art & patreon variant, if you're a subscriber
It really feels like we're spoiled to be getting another full album just about a year after LCCS. Love it.
Richard just put up the album version of "Olive Oyl" on Patreon
