I have died and gone to heaven watching Rian Johnson ascend to the throne.

 

I feel like I'm gonna wake up soon and this will all be a fever dream. This puts my Last Jedi hype at almost unsatisfiable levels though.

 

I don't think there will be fatigue.

Think about it, at this point we have more content hours of "Stranger Things" than main-story Star Wars films...

 

Hearing about Comic Book Movie fatigue for years but every year they keep raking in that money

 

I did not want this - I've believed most of my life that there would be the 9 episodes and them alone.
But Rian is my main dude. May he and Gareth take over Hollywood sci fi.

Noooooooooooo there is a new dawn of clever, highbrow sci-fi. Just watched District 9 again tonight, gave me feels. IMHO, I cannot freaking stand Star Wars. I think it sucks. Please don't ban me.
