Its at 41% on Rotten Tomatoes which actually has me somewhat intrigued. For any other series, it would not. lol
The Resident Evil series is like the Fast and Furious series at this point, you're not going for plot. You're going so you can watch crazy shit go down.
I just laugh honestly at the 3d stuff they shoehorned into the last movie when it's on tv with no effects lol
Started my easy play through to get all the bobbleheads and I'm already at Lucas' part, without dying once, with 1hr30mins gone!!! Would be great to get all bobbleheads and under 4 hour achievement in one playthrough!
Got the arm. Really surprised I didn't die during the spider mom fightI had barely any ammo. It's probably because I had enough coins to get a steroid, and a stimulant.
Just started playing some of the design decisions here are real neat and ambitious. Not too terrifying so far, but I like the atmosphere. Definitely feels like a first person RE1
Japanese sales numbers are roughly half of RE6's http://kotaku.com/lets-see-how-resident-evil-7-is-doing-in-japan-1791906888
Finished my playthrough on easy, getting all the bobbleheads and completing it within 4 hours - with a time of 3hrs 55mins!!! Cut it fucking fine but I went through the whole game without dying too so that felt good. But the weird thing is, I managed to unlock 4 things when I was only expecting 3. I got the walking shoes/boots/whatever and circular saw for <4hrs plus the essence of defence for all the bobbleheads, but somehow managed to get the x-ray specs too?!?! No idea how tbh but I'm not complaining! Next up, Madhouse difficulty!
I'm at an hour and 10 minutes and am just getting to the greenhouse boss fight. Not really sure how good or bad I'm tracking there. Might have to make this just a bobblehead run
That's where I was at that time too, so as long as you don't get lost at any point (the ship part sucks for that!) then you will be under 4 hours at that pace!
one of the best bits of the game for sure. When you do it as Clancy on the tape, is there any way to survive?
yeah I got a little mixed up in the old house but I'm thinking if I can take care of that boss and grab the testing area key cards in about ~20 minutes I'll be back on track. Not looking forward to the ship though, I definitely did way too much backtracking in that section on my first run.
they keycards are easy as hell - the clock is always 10:15 for the red one and I just grabbed the snake key from the cops body, went RIGHT out of the door & not left to avoid some molded, then just ran all the way to Lucas' room & in to the attic to get the blue one - took around 5mins!
