It’s one of the best games of all time but I think I’ve played it through a few times on a “modern enough” system so I hope it has enough changes to keep it fresh

 

The original is a top 5 game ever made. I’ll be going in with high expectations

Yeah looks like they spent a decent amount of money on this, haha. But it looks like a new zombie series that they decided to splat the Resident Evil name onto

 

Doesn’t really feel like Resident Evil but I’m gonna watch.

 

i'm very cautious about the re4 remake. mostly because it just really doesn't need one. the fanmade hd mods are really all you need to enhance the experience of the game.

 

Yeah, I'm also tired of buying RE4 lol

 

i still have my gamecube version somewhere, just no desire to buy it again lmao

 

This will be the 5th and final time I buy RE4, then capcom is CUT OFF

 

I'm looking forward to the new shit/changes in the RE4 remake. Or nervous? Both?

Looks like resident evil 2/3/7 ps5/Xbox series editions are launching today after the showcase

 

I think I hate the Netflix series so far lol

 

Yeahhh, I just watched the first ep. I’m kind of into the teen drama at the start of the outbreak. But I don’t care at ALL about the 2036 timeline.

 

I’m on ep 3 on a day off and while I don’t hate it, I don’t really understand why this had to be under the Resident Evil umbrella (pun intended).

Outside of using the name Wesker, Umbrella’s name and logo for the bad company and the “T-Virus,” this is very much it’s own thing detached from the OG series.

 

This is disappointing to hear. I got really invested in the story a few years ago.

 

A classic RE creature showed up in the third or fourth toward the end, so that was cool. Haven’t come back to it yet though.

I also liked how they took the scene with Jill looking in the mirror from the RE3 remake and used it in that episode with Billie

 

I pray that they’re aware 5 and 6 aren’t worth revisiting

 

Yeah I don't think remakes can save those games
