This was really good. Finished it last night and the variety made the game constantly feel fresh. Definitely a solid successor to RE4 and the factory was pretty horrific with the enemy designs
I think I accidentally sold my handgun? It’s missing from my inventory which is hella annoying, and I can’t afford to buy one.
You should be able to buy the same one back from him that you sold. Not sure if you meant that too when you said you couldn't afford a new one.
Unfortunately I bought a ton of stuff from him before I realized my handgun was missing Hopefully I’ll make more money soon.
Finished last night and really enjoyed it. Love that each section almost felt like a different genre. Survival horror/psychological horror/action horror. Looking forward to the next one but I hope the wait isn’t 4 years lol. Also my play time was 9 hours and 12 minutes on standard.
Haven’t played a survival horror game in years. Decided it was time to get back into it. I loved RE4 so this seemed perfect. Really enjoying it so far. The way the game makes you panic in certain situations is great.
I really dug The Evil Within 1 and 2 if you like RE4. Though I had weird dreams after playing it from being in that world!
Fixed my motion sickness by turning up the camera speed, adjusting brightness up and sitting way further back. Woo hoo! So with that being said, I’m now finally playing RE7 and will catch up before tackling Village. Glad I tried again 2 years later after giving up after an hour of feeling super nauseated
I also get really bad motion sickness with some games, I was fine with 7 but Village definitely got me. I found turning all my lights on helped (which is a bummer because you wanna play a game like this in the dark) and making sure I always had a weapon with a cross hair on screen when walking around.
this looks like shit lol “Six years ago (2000), the helicopter belonging to the U.S. special forces who were intervening in the Penamstan civil war fell from the sky. The U.S. Army Mad Dogs, who were in the same battleground, refused orders from the command center to stand their ground and instead went to save survivors of the crash. However, the special forces were already annihilated. The Mad Dogs, led by their captain Jason, were also forced to escape in order to survive. “However, in that place, Jason and his unit saw the supposedly dead special forces moving in strange ways… “In the present (2006), a hacking incident occurs on a top secret White House file. Four agents, including Leon S. Kennedy and Jason, the “Hero of Penamstan,” are invited to the White House to investigate this incident. However, when the lights suddenly go out, they are forced to take down a horde of mysterious zombies alongside the SWAT team. Afterward, the top secret file is found to be related to a biology laboratory in Shanghai, which Leon and the other three agents decide to investigate for clues. As they head to Shanghai in a cutting-edge submarine, a swarm of rat-like Bio Organic Weapons (B.O.W.) suddenly attacks, pushing them into a life-or-death situation. “Meanwhile, while staying in Penamstan to provide support for refugees, Terra Save staff member Claire Redfield encounters a strange image drawn by a nonverbal boy. Haunted by this drawing, which appears to depict a victim of viral infection, Claire starts her own investigation. She eventually finds a terrifying experiment that was conducted during the Penamstan civil war. Leon and Claire draw closer to an unimaginable truth that all began in Penamstan. They also discover that a terror that can shatter peace is slowly approaching…“
Just beat Resident Evil 7 so I can play Village. Guess I left the game on a night or two cause my finish time was 77 hours on normal. 17 for 18 on antique coins has my OCD going nuts.
So annoying when that sort of thing happens - on RE8 I got 45 out of 48 notes read on my first playthrough, now I'm just gonna use a walkthrough to get the last 3 because cba exploring everywhere again for 3 damn letters lol
Funny thing is, I'm 99% sure it was the first coin too. Like in the video flashback with the TV crew where you need to unlock the cabinet. My brightness was way too low and I couldn't see the coin at my feet no matter how hard I tried. Whoops!
