This looks so fun. I was staring into the abyss reading comments from people complaining that it's not using any particular game's story or lore. That line of thinking is how we end up with bad video game movies (ahem the mario movies) so screw them. This is gonna rock. One of my most anticipated of the year

Combining both of those into one movie was a fatal mistake to begin with. There were some parts of that movie that were kind of cool
Never watched Raccoon City, but nothing can be as bad as the "resident evil by name only" series of films that came out in the 2000s/2010s. Cregger seems to be a fan of the source material enough that I'm not worried about it. The approach to just expand on the world already in the games is a great idea
