As long as it relies more on the spooky and less on a character using superpowers to fight zombies then I’ll like it.

I don't see how they can possibly fit the plot of both RE1 and RE2 in one movie. This has my spider-sense tingling in all kinds of ways.

As much as I love the original Resident Evil series, I’m looking forward to this sticking closer to the story of the games

 

You said what I wanted to say before I could say it. I had to pause the video just to make sure that looked as goofy as I thought it did, and yes, it does.

That said, I am happy with the number of clear elements and scenes directly taken from the games, and it looks overall like trashy fun.

EDIT: Adding that the song choice for this trailer is just the right amount of obnoxious.

 

i loved everything besides that and the dog. just looks like some bad CGI but still seems like brainless fun.

 

I thought the dog was alright.

The big problem I have with Birkin is the eyes and how rubbery he looks.

The licker looks perfect though.

 

licker does look good. I’m also very happy about the setting. Looks like they really nailed the set from the game.

Like I wasn’t fully expecting this be to absolutely faithful to the games because Hollywood but I’m still pretty disappointed by that trailer.

 

The CGI doesn’t look that good, but at least it looks more like the games than those “resident evil” films we got in the 2000s

 

Why is Claire a conspiracy theorist in this? Like of all the things I can pick at, that one is the most puzzling.

 

I mean I think this looks very fun considering the steamy pile of shit that is the original film series.

 

Yeah i'm in. It looks true enough to 1 and 2 to have my attention. Feel a lot better about this than i did after those stills haha.

 

i will enjoy this the same way i enjoy the fast and furious
