God this is such a beautiful show

 

I absolutely lost it when Big said “you know, fish don’t taste the same ever since I busted those fish fuckers”. It was the first thing I thought about when he first pulled over and said he was taking him into the woods to fish. Haha.

Unpopular opinion probably, but I'm not loving this season. No real season long storylines, not much of all the kids hanging, a lot of standalone episodes in a row... Nothing is bad, of course, but I feel like it's missing some of it's magic

This last episode was amazing. I feel like this show is going to benefit greatly from rewatch.

Yeah I mean, my point isn't that the episodes are bad, I just don't have any sort of through line for the season at all, which especially feels odd for a final season

 

I feel like this season is expanding the show to show the entire community on the rez while the first two was mostly about the kids. Their main storyline ended with closure for David in Cali, they have more learning to do but now they’re fully integrated into the community again. Imo

 

The Fucks e. Coli

 

the Maximus stuff is the throughline for the season, I think that's pretty clear. this episode was amazing and did a great job paying off last week's and making it clear Maximus is kind of a cautionary tale for the main characters generations. absolutely loved it, Big's speech was devastating and all the callbacks to Bucky's string theory speech and such were great

god I'm gonna miss Cheese (all the characters, but mostly Cheese lol) when this show ends

only thing this episode was missing for me was Teenie at the end, felt like she needed to be there. love how this season is just going for simple and sweet and how much closure the characters are getting

 

latest episode was easily one of the best ever. comedy and pathos like only this show does

"he doesn't have Facebook, fuck am I FBI?"

 

so this whole time I thought the seasons of this show were 8 episodes and this was the last one haha. was honestly pretty satisfied with it but also I'm very happy to get two more

Paulina Alexis is so fucking good. The scene with Elora on the bus was so heartwarming, and then again at the hospital. Not to mention how funny her delivery is

 

Wish I could watch this. Card on file for Hulu expired, entered new card info, says it can’t charge the new card.
