Lots of tire kickers on marketplace but at least you need some type of profile and the reviews / ratings help to filter out any wild cards

Yeah, reselling can be fun once you get the hang of it. Best quick tip: stick to categories you know well, that way you can spot deals faster.
looking for some advice against a scammer sold a 72" x 24" mat for $400 the buyer messages me claiming I sent them a 20" x 20" mat (that sells for like $150) and wants me to refund them the difference I tell them, if you received the wrong item, send back exactly what you received in the original packaging and you will be refunded they disappeared for a couple weeks but now that the return window is close to running out, guess what... they opened a return I'm assuming they'll switch out the mats and send me a small one and eBay will probably side with them when I know for a fact I sent them the correct larger one any advice on how not to get forced into refunding the buyer 100% and being stuck with whatever junk they send me back?
I would definitely wait for the return and open a case against the buyer with eBay when it comes, assuming it’s fraudulent
I plan to do that. Just seems like ebay always takes the buyers side so I didn't know if there was anything I should do preemptively or any evidence I could possibly gather.
I wonder if packaging weights will help. If they send back a smaller mat the weight of the package should be less. When the carrier scans it you can do a comparison?
I sold my 100th item on depop today and I also have 100 positive five star reviews peruse active listings here - https://www.depop.com/wadecastle/
I noticed your listings are all/mostly auctions. I list 99.9% as buy it now, and only use auctions when it's a rare high demand item, but I haven't done very well with my auctions so I was just curious what your success rate was with auctions? Do you wind up getting close to what you were hoping? How often does the item sell in the first auction? Do often times have to list the item multiple times for it to sell? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
Listed it for $300, accepted the first offer I got for $200. Dude didn't immediately pay, which is annoying, but after I reached out he gave me a date and time and paid when he said he would. He was selling other omnibus-sized comics, lol. Curious how much more I could have gotten if I wanted to hold onto it, but glad I could get it to a fan for a deal, I see two copies listed above 500 and one at 425. Crazy stuff. Best .50 cents I've ever spent!
It was my best friends wife’s bag. She accidentally bought two so she asked me to flip the second bag for her since she doesn’t do online selling but I believe she got it straight from loungefly
