There's nothing bizarre about seeing a conversation about sexism and chiming in by talking about gross, sexist trends in storytelling.
No, I'm not interested in Landis' work, but that's not the point. I don't care about the nuanced analysis of the entire television series. Someone observed something they thought was problematic about the beginning of the series, and Lexi Alexander used that as a springboard to talk more about that issue in popular storytelling. Nothing she's said is wrong, regardless of what happens as that particular series goes on.

That tweet was a good tweet about representation in media, so I put it in this thread dedicated to representation in media, which is a much better topic than to what degree the hate crybaby Landis gets is or isn't deserved.
