Irish Sun is reporting that U2 will release their new album on December 1st:

But fans don’t have to wait that long to hear new music, with first single You’re The Best Thing About Me getting played on radio from Friday, September 8 — days after the band resumes their Joshua Tree tour in the US.

Cool. I'm always down for more U2. Really dug their last one. Haven't listened to it in a little while, but revisiting it right now, it's still pretty solid.
