I have always been annoyed by this. 99.9% of bands aren't "fake". You might think their music is bad or that they are corny, but that's a different story.

Still in shock. He shaped my music taste. I still remember being that rebellious teen, thinking that no one was listening & I was alone- I would just throw on "Hybrid Theory" & it would all seem to fade away and then I felt right in the world again. This hit extremely hard. My thoughts & prayers are with his family & friends. You will not be forgotten, RIP Chester.

Been going through their discog the past few days - "Living Things" has been the most surprising to me. Completely missed that record when it came out so I haven't heard any of it but it's damn good.
I hadn't really listened to the Dead By Sunrise album until today. There's some good stuff on there, and some of them (including one referencing 'suicide' and 'say goodbye to the wife and kids') are also really hard to listen to. Man...
