Although High of 75 got annoying to me because they seem to never stop playing it live while they had so many songs they didn't touch. But out of that context I still love it.

 

Yeah, I think that's probably my least favourite from this album too.

 

Oh. It's good. I can say with full confidence that 7/8 out of the tracks left (all but This Week the Trend) are excellent songs and I wouldn't argue with anyone about them being among Rk's best.

 

That awkward moment when you're wondering why "The Thief" ever beat out "Life After Death and Taxes" before realizing it was "The Truth" and not "The Thief". I don't know how I forget about that song. Listening now and it really is spectacular.

 

That and Maintain Consciousness are two of the least memorable to me, but they're also the only songs on the record that have that signature RK humor from the early days so they make me happy.

High of 75 is probably my least favorite. But that's grading on a high curve.

My three favorites are still in this and I think my very favorite has a good chance of winning this one. After my incessant complaining for the last few albums, things are looking up. :)

Agreed.

 

mmhmm is weird for me, I like the album as a whole but none of the songs would make my top ten RK songs. It's hard for me to even pick a favorite (although Maintain Consciousness is easily my least favorite).

 

mmhmm is their perfect pop punk record. I don't think there is one bad song on it.

 

Mmhmm is super inconsistent with some really great songs and a lot of throwaways.

 

Three Lefts is a better pop punk record, but Mmhmm is great too.

 

The only thing Three Lefts is better at is being a bad album.

Two Lefts has some great fun songs... But it doesn't compare to the masterpiece of Mmhmm.

 

There are songs I like on Two Lefts better than any on Mmhmm. But Mmhmm is the better full album. By far

I will admit to a nostalgic fondness for Two Lefts that I don't have for Mmhmm. So that pulls a few a bit higher.
