I think Deathbed is the only “essential” RK song from this album. It has grown on me over the years but overall I don’t think it’s anywhere near their strongest work.

 

I actually think it's totally skippable. Deathbed that is.

The abum is fine. I like a handful of tracks a good bit. But if I caught them live and they skipped all the songs from this album it wouldn't really bother me like it would most of their albums.

Was just thinking how Relient K is one of the few bands that has four records in their discography I'd personally consider excellent and Five Score just happens to be the "weakest" of the four. I don't listen to it a lot, but when I do I have nothing bad to say about it.

I agree. But the voters disagree apparently.

 

Deathbed is easily the best song on Five Score imo and Five Score is easily their second best album.

 

Afternoon update... We have a clear winner... Haha but people seem to like having it be open for 24 hours anyway. Is that still true? Let me know! I plan on keeping it open for the 24 hours for this, if not every round til the end.

R.I.P. Bite My Tongue.

 

Yeah, Bite My Tongue, Up and Up, Come Right Out and Deathbed are my favs on this album. Probably their best production as well.

 

I think the second half of the record is marginally stronger than the first. "I Need You," "The Best Thing," and "Give" are the reasons this album isn't a contender for their best in my eyes.
