Yeah, very catchy. The album actually starts off pretty decently, though Don't Blink into Boomerang transition is kinda jarring
Yeah, I was so hype for the album when they released Don't Blink and Lost Boy as the first two tracks.
I remember Lost Boy and Disaster a little bit and enjoyed them. I may need to revisit the album at work tomorrow. I was watching Wallykazam with my daughter today and the beginning of the theme song reminded me a lot of a song off of CL, so I needed to investigate more anyway.
Still haven't listened to any of the songs released, and I'm not sure if it's because I want to save it so I can listen to it all at once or if I'm just not that excited for the album. Regardless I have it preordered and am very curious what the album will be like.
I would guess (totally speculation) that he is just a touring/recording member. Mainly based on the album art/social media focus on the Matts.
That was my thought too. Since all of the album stuff has just been the Matt's. But he's on the Instagram a good bit.
From what I've heard he and Tom pretty much recorded equally on the record and he's just a hired musician at this point. Not "just" a hired musician. But I think that at this point it will just be the Matts from here on out officially.
Reddit has a really hard time accepting CL was a bad album. haha With *Air For Free* so close, let's take a moment to re-think *collapsible Lung* • /r/RelientK
It's just like so much. It's just weird how unwilling that subreddit is to accept that a good band released a bad album.
If they wanna think about it that way to help them sleep at night, fine, but it's kinda pathetic. Also hate the religious angle where we have to question if everything is "morally bankrupt" .... lol, I'm over here thinking who the fuck cares?
Yeah. There have been posts like this (though none so long) basically monthly since I joined the subreddit a little over a year ago (I had to unsub for awhile actually. haha). The religious angle has always been annoying too. Like I know 2000-2004 the band was pretty far into the religious scene, but since Five Score they seem to have distanced themselves a bit from that.
