Oh yeah I think Kanye's just as likely as fun. to be an influence.

 

We're down to just over two weeks before Air For Free and still no CD. I'll actually be annoyed if I can't get it on release day. Remembering CL though, that didn't make it to any store but Amazon. And even that was delayed. So I guess I'm not holding onto hope of having this album anytime soon at this point. It's really weird how bad they've become at album roll outs though.

 

Yeah and they do literally nothing to promote themseleves to people who don't already follow them on social media. It's like they don't care about the albums being successful or expanding their fan base anymore, ha.

 

I'm pretty hyped for this album. I'm in the minority that enjoyed a fair bit of Collapsible Lung, and what we've heard reminds me of a mix between that and Five Score, which I'm quite alright with. While FANSD will likely always be their best, and while I'd still like another album in a similar vein, I am quite alright with them settling in as just a very good, very fun pop rock band.

 

Yeah. I don't remember being this pumped for a Relient k album in a long time. Maybe MMHMM...

 

I wish I were excited for this, but I'm just not very hyped about the band anymore. I'm hoping this one will pleasantly surprise me when it comes out.

 

I'd settle for them caring enough to actually promote and clarify things for the fans they already have. haha Like they've been saying "CD's coming soon" since they announced the Vinyl pre-order, and here we are two weeks out and we still have nothing else to go on. They might be more vague than Brand New at this point. I'm sure when (if) Brand New announces a new album, they won't leave people without info to actually purchase a copy. haha

I know there will be. Haha I'd just like to have the CD on the day it's released, not have to order post release day. I do genuinely just think the vague "soon" on CDs is pretty bad though. It's not even like a teaser, it's just like vague for no reason.

 

Just a little over two weeks. Didn't expect to be this excited over new RK but I'm unbelievably excited.

 

Oh yeah I'm extremely excited don't get me wrong.

 

I thought the CD was coming out same time? Maybe I just wasn't paying too close attention, or whatever, but this says CD release...no?

 

I have a good feeling about this album.

 

I have no excitement for the album. I have to keep expectations incredibly low. After CL, I just can't let this band burn me again.

 

Damn i forgot this was coming out. can't wait.

 

Same. I feel nothing about this so far. I'm not excited at all, but I still want to hear the leak when it comes out to know if I'm even going to buy it or not. Which is a shame, because for a long time, these guys were my favorite band and have a lot of personal memories because of them. Oh well.

 

Have any of you guys heard the clips? There's a lot to get excited about there for me but they should be able to help you get either more excited or help decrease your expectations even further, ha.

 

I will def check it out. But I just don't see the point in getting excited for a band that hasn't had a good release since 2009. The 10 year Mmhmm tour was fun, at least.

 

It's crazy how it's been pretty much the same amount of time between FANSD and now as it was between Two Lefts and FANSD.

 

This is my most anticipated for the year. RK have always been close to my heart and I cannot wait to blast this over the summer.

Comes out right before my birthday which is bonus
