Live it Well really isn't any different to me than their past radio-friendly songs, I don't really get the hate for it
This album cycle is making me pretty sad. Not because the music is bad, but just because we're a month out and still have no CD or digital retailer outside of iTunes pre-order options.
Yeah they need a marketing team or something to handle that stuff, maybe they're just not interested in doing it or whatever but the promotion is bad lol. I love Mrs. Hippopotamus' though.
Like, this is the first band I really loved, but they've been fuckin' up album roll outs since Collapsible Lung. I thought maybe it was just because they weren't super proud of that one, but this one's seems even worse. They said CD's would come out, so at this point I'm just hoping that they'll come out by album release day. Weirdly, CD is the only format I get to listen to often because I drive a lot and don't have a way to play music other than CD in the car.
Five Score was their last record on a bigger label. They've since been on Mono vs. Stereo which Matt Hoopes owns, I beleive.
Man, it's really good. The piano and the melodies...Bummin' didn't really grab me right away but this song is the comeback I wanted, I think.
The samples are so good. I wish they'd make a CD available already, it's weird to be 3 weeks out and still not have a CD option. I'm going to be really disappointed if they don't have CD's available before or on release day.
