The EP is great. A couple odd songs (however, "Beaming" is lovely), but for the most part, very revealing and honest record that pre-dates FANSD yet contains lots of similar themes. The b-sides EP is "for fans only" though.

Yeah, I e-mailed them right away, but still haven't had a response. Hopefully they get back to me. It almost feels pointless to own FIve Score without Deathbed being listenable. haha

 

That's my favorite release by them. I just loved how experimental it was but still great. SMLXL Vinyl confirmed a couple months ago that they're pressing it on vinyl later this year!

 

Faking My Own Suicide is actually maybe one of the only examples of a song i basically cant listen to because of how firmly i disagree with the ideology in it. feels like it really trivializes suicide not to mention is honestly super creepy imo. but musically i love it

 

I despise "Faking My Own Suicide". Worst song on the album. "Deathbed" is not that good. It's fine. But it doesn't really call for repeat listens. Collapsible Lung is still pure hot garbage that I can't believe they actually put out under the Relient K name. Shameful. I don't see a point in a 3 month preorder. I'll buy it on iTunes the day of or day before. I got bored of Bumming 45 seconds in. But I'm on my phone, I shouldn't be checking out new music on this thing. I'll blame it on me. SpyKi always has unique options. Don't let it bother you, it's harmless. Haha! My favorite album is probably FANSD. Mmhmm is super close, but I think the tone and feel of FANSD just suits me more at my age. But Mmhmm will always be special. Loved seeing that 10 year tour. The Nashville EP is absolutely brilliant. Can't believe it's unheard of by some fans. They are missing out on some magical songs.

I hate ranking stuff. Plus they have too many to limit to 10. I can't even fully pick a top album without mentioning another haha!

 

I love ranking stuff, I usually do it with everything whether I post it online or not, ha.

 

Motorcycle Drive By is one of their best songs, and it's a cover, so it's weird. But damn, I love it.

 

I was so hoping their next album would sound like that and we got CL, haha.

Oh snap, I don't know why I always forget about "Bite My Tongue". Probably their most underrated song ever and easily one of the strongest. That song embodies everything that makes Relient K a great band.

I So Hate Consequences and More Than Useless aren't on any of these lists?! Mostly the former.

I have no issues with ranking things. I get why it's lowest common denominator criticism, but i just like giving my opinion on how they rank against each other in my listening habits. Plus I saw and enjoyed High Fidelity a few times.
