Rad to see these kept in stock but I was hoping for the original artwork version of Five Score, the new artwork is nice but doesn't match the darker feeling of that record for me.

 

Right after I spent like $60 for Two Lefts and Five Score on Discogs. Sigh. Oh well.

 

I think that was a limited, one-time thing. Not sure why but the Five Score represses will continue to be the redone artwork moving forward from what I've heard.

 

My early pressing of coke bottle MMHMM vinyl is one of my favorites in my collection. I should pick these up.

 

thanks for the clarification! If i can't pick one up on Discogs for a reasonable price then I'll probably just grab the new version, I like the album too much.

 

Interesting to view that record as having a “darker feeling” lol

 

I mean, it has Devastation and Reform and I Need You

but I guess those are juxtaposed with The Best Thing and Must Have Done Something Right haha

 

DEATHbed…the title sounds dark/hardcore lol

 

I mean, relative to the rest of their discography haha. I'm aware that it's still pretty light (and it's not like the original cover is intense or anything, just muted).

It's just always felt like they were trying to be more serious than usual, and songs like I Need You have a bit of an edge to them.

A repress for Anatomy is coming soon as well. Hold off buying from the secondary market if you’re wanting it.

I’d be surprised if either got a repress. CL was available for at least several years and took a long long time to sell. You might the only one looking for it now haha.

 

Listening to Mmhmm for the first time in I don't know how long. It holds up

I did the same thing, bought CL to complete the collection and I don't think I've ever opened it. I do love that they have just about everything pressed. Only thing left would be something like All Work and No Play but I don't see that one getting pressed lol

 

I really want self-titled on wax.

 

Now I'm going to listen to the S/T album, so much nostalgia with that one. I remember my parents asking why is this song about Marilyn Manson lol

i really hope we get one more record from them... can't believe air for free came out 2016!

 

I mean...knowing some of the background and undercurrents behind the lyrics in FANSD it definitely has a bit of a darker feel even though the songs themselves all sound fairly bright and positive
