I'm not sure if you're referring to Ohio State or the Browns, and frankly, that is all that needs to be said about that haha
Let It Snow repress (new variant): https://www.smlxlvinyl.com/products...lp-vinyl-pre-sale-mid-november-2014-ship-date
I looked through my old emails and found my original copy was delivered Nov 2014, they just reused the old link lol
Ummm yea, I think so? Cause then there was the acoustic on the Birds and the B-sides. Right? Or maybe acoustic was first? Then rock was with FANSD?
Electric was first. I think it was released with the single for Must Have Done Something Right and maybe the acoustic version was a FANSD bonus track. That version wasn’t on Bee Sides but I think it was one of those downloadable bonus tracks they released as part of the scavenger hunt promoting that album. Edit: I stand corrected, it is the last song on Bee Sides.
I've never listened to Bee Sides but I just looked over the tracklist and was reminded of this... The Vinyl Countdown was announced at the peak of my obsession with relient K. I didn't know that "vinyl" meant an actual record, so I got my mom to order it on our really crappy computer. She also did not comment on vinyl being mentioned all over. It arrived and I was so sad I couldn't listen to it and I would dream of finding some sort of vinyl ripper that could put the songs on a tape or something that I could actually listen to. My interest in the band completely dropped with Five Score so I never actually listened to Bee Sides or realized the songs were on there. I just listened to them for the first time now and it's really cool to hear unfamiliar songs from that era. The lyrics about kids not knowing how to play vinyl felt too accurate. Anyone else also this stupid?
Since we’re posting about bonus tracks that were previously thought to be only digital but can be found on a CD…here’s a CD with their cover of Sloop John B, an iTunes-only bonus track for Five Score: Various - Covers
At one point in time I spent a week searching the internet for every Jimmy Eat World b-side, and now this thread is inspiring me to do the same for Relient k. For some reason I never really thought to look for b-sides because I figured the Bird and Bee Sides had it all.
Apparently they did a Johnny Q Public cover? Various: Gotee Records - Twenty Years Rare 669447004752 | eBay I never knew about this, haha. Man, this is going to be a rabbit hole now....
Yes and a re-recorded version of Sadie Hawkins Dance is on that comp as well. Kinda cool to hear an updated take on it.
If you can track down the Japanese version of Forget and Not Slow Down, there's an acoustic version of "Where Do I Go From Here?" that's fantastic.
Love this version of Fallen Man, now where do I put this in my library.. tag it onto the back of Five Score?
Acoustic version of Must Have Done Something Right is exclusive to one of the 7" vinyl records from that series of 14 records they did a few years back.
This is the only real b-side I know of this side of FANSD since the Matts threw the kitchen sink on Air for Free, Look On Up was released as a one-off, and you have the Candy Hearts EP.
