honestly I adore all of the interludes. Album is so good. Listening to it now, ha.

Wow, I did not realize until now that in "Baby" he's referring to the events talked about in "Savannah" in the past tense. And I've listened to that album at least 150 times.

 

Yeah the last "everything made sense when you were with me" is so perfect.

 

Savannah/Baby is the best Relient K song ever

 

I never realized this until you just said it haha

 

no shade, i think it's amazing that people didn't realize that. that was a huge part of why i love that outro, the immediate, dead, realistic echoing of the bright, alive, happy love

Agreed, but I more meant like on Shuffle or something, I'd just skip past them since they were out of context. But always was annoyed by them, should have just made them songs..

 

Oh absolutely, I don't see why they split them.

 

Especially on the vinyl because the it splits Savannah up. Ugh.

 

Forget And Not Slow Down remains an airtight, flawless pop-rock album. I always come back to this band around this time of year and it always feels right.

Can't Complain and Gloria are easily the worst RK songs in existence.
