I think Baby after Savannah is not only one of the best interludes but one of the most important. So heartbreaking and beautiful.

Wow, I did not realize until now that in "Baby" he's referring to the events talked about in "Savannah" in the past tense. And I've listened to that album at least 150 times.
no shade, i think it's amazing that people didn't realize that. that was a huge part of why i love that outro, the immediate, dead, realistic echoing of the bright, alive, happy love
Agreed, but I more meant like on Shuffle or something, I'd just skip past them since they were out of context. But always was annoyed by them, should have just made them songs..
Forget And Not Slow Down remains an airtight, flawless pop-rock album. I always come back to this band around this time of year and it always feels right.
