Man, I grew up in a weird hyper-religious environment and I remember literally fighting with my parents about this band being Christian so I could listen to Mmhmm. Fun times. This was the first record I ever grew attached to. It’s probably second only to Forget and Not Slow Down for me.

They heard that some of the songs were about girls and other non-Jesus-centered things and said "A band can't be Christian if they sing about things other than god". It took a stupid amount of time to finally get them to break down and let me get the album.
hahaha, gotta love it. I grew up in a Christian-ish household so I didn't have that strict of rules but I can at least relate
Five Scores was the first album they released where I was like "Ya, I dunno about this one..." It's solid, but always felt phoned in for lack of better phrase. I know it wasn't and it has gems, but always felt like they could have done more.
I grew up in pretty strict evangelical house. Relient K's self-titled album was the first album I heard that wasn't worship music or classic oldie music like Beatles/Boston etc.
I grew up basically exclusively listening to Christian music and oldies. My first concert ever was Audio Adrenaline. Ha Not only did Relient K make it out of that era with me, but they are the only band I have actively listened to and loved for pretty much my entire life.
FANSD came at a time when I really needed it. mmhmm may be their best album, but FANSD is my favorite for personal reasons.
Mmhmm is always a great time. The anniversary tour was as well. It was definitely a defining album for me and I go back to it about every month, such a singular and well executed vision.
Seeing this 10 year tour and Jimmy Eat World's Futures 10 year tour in the span of a month at my favorite music venue will forever make 2014 one of my favorite autumns.
Saw the music video for Be My Escape on yahoo music. Bought the CD late one night after work with a few friends. I think it was 15. Crazy how time has just flown by.
Does that smiley face have anything to do with the fact that there is a password protection on their website right now…?
Don't toy with us I'm hoping for some type of tour/new music announcement. Still can't believe its been 5+ years since AFF. Remember when there was a new album or EP every year? Those were the days...
I haven’t been passionate about an RK release since FANSD. At this point I don’t know if I want new music from them.

Looks like artist presale starts Wednesday at 10, general public on Friday. They’ve got to announce tonight or first thing tomorrow right? Damn I can’t believe this. They’ve been MIA for 4 years. So excited.
