The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed (I'm still tight about Catching Myself getting thrashed so hard but Survivor is still worthy) In Regards To Myself (It's just too strong)
Round Two Final Totals: Writing On The Walls - 9 The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed - 11 In Regards To Myself - 17 Sunburnt - 3 ---------------------------- Before we begin this final round of the championship bracket, I'd like to thank everyone for their participation over the past several weeks. We've consistently had around 20 votes per round and it's been fun going through these albums and discussing them with all of you! On to the final round: The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed vs. In Regards To Myself This round will be open for 24 hours, but I have a feeling that we may know the winner much sooner than that...
Neither of these finalists are my favourite songs or, indeed, songs that I would have guessed to be finalists. But ultimately both are competent. I'm going for The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed as it is from my favourite Underoath album. In Regards is a great opener but not a song I'd pick as the definitive best Underoath song. Thank you for organising it all. I've definitely enjoyed revisiting their back catalogue and seeing everyone's often diverse opinions!
Even if DTGL is my favorite album, I'm glad we didnt just get two songs from that for the final here. Didn't think we'd get one from LITSOS though! That's a nice surprise.
I thought long and hard about this one (about 15 minutes straight). Gonna go with In Regards To Myself. A huge single for them, shows off their more technical and aggressive side, and it's from their most successful album. I'm cool with it.
In Regards To Myself I love LITSOS so much as a whole, but this is one of the few songs of DTGL that can stand up to almost any track from LITSOS for me.
