Let's please not forget this absolutely ridiculous observation and how it turned out to be 100% accurate.

 

this bracket has taught me that more people hold LITSOS in higher esteem than i ever realized.

It’s my favorite of theirs, and I generally shout it from the rooftops.

I like it a lot, but I'd just never seen anyone claim it as favorite before. I guess it'd be third for me...maybe fourth. Erase Me and I have a complicated relationship right now.

 

From what I’ve seen LITSOS seems to be the favorite of most people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

LITSOS is the album that got me into Underoath and heavy music in general. It warms my heart that it's been given so much love here because I think LITSOS is easily their least talked about record not counting pre-TOCS albums. It didn't signal the start of a new era so it's almost treated like an extension of Define, which is a huge shame. I think both are tied for #1 in their discography for me.

Unsound has always reminded me a lot of Circa Survive

 

Hahah I’m glad somebody visibly appreciated that post because I got a real kick out of writing it

Re: LITSOS; from roaming the various UO threads I knew how loved that album was but I remember being quite surprised when I first realized it. But over the past couple years I’ve realized that chorus is the one place you can always go to find weird majority or even fringe opinions so nothing surprises me anymore

Writing On The Walls. I hate to be the one to champion the single but this song is flawless. The bridge is such an ethereal experience for me.

Young And Aspiring. Unsound has a top tier chorus, but YAA is also, quite frankly, perfect. One of my favorite guitar songs from them.

Listened to LITSOS for my workout today to assess where I’d put it after everyone’s responses in here. Still third for me. But it’s a damn fantastic record.
