Fault Line is fine but I really don't get the love for it. I'd place it easily in the bottom 5 songs on the album.

 

The ending of the song and this doesn't match up

mehhh. The ending is definitely the best part but I still think there are much better songs on here. To each their own though!

Emergency Broadcast :: The End Is Near (Ok this one was the toughest for me. I know people were hating on Breathing earlier but I do quite love it, I think it's a great opener. The time signature mix up really gets me. But Emergency Broadcast just has more to it.)

Oh wow did not think Anyone Can Dig a Hole and Emergency Broadcast would be losing. Huh.

 

To be fair I guess I did underestimate Too Bright after looking back at all the votes and explanations, I think it's still one of the weaker songs on the album to me but that still makes it a very good song

Anyone.. losing to Too Bright is a mindfuck to me.

 

Emergency Broadcast losing in the first round would be the biggest bracket travesty since both For Miles and Atlantic lost in the first round of the Thrice bracket.

Oh man. For Miles broke my heart. Best Thrice song ever. Although if I remember it did lose out to The Earth Will Shake which won the entire bracket so that made me feel a little better.

First one was really difficult. Didn't expect Anyone Can Dig to take the first round and I want to keep championing it, but Desperate Times is honestly so good.

 

That breakdown with the feedback or whatever the heck is going on there is one of my favorite moments in any UO song. Wish the final could be The Only Survivor and Fault Line.

Ughhh fault line, created void, and coming down might be my top 3 but they’re killing each other

 

I know. Coming Down is so, so good. I think I've just come to the realization that I just love every song on this record.
