Too Bright to See,Too Loud to Hear Breathing In a New Mentality A Fault Line, A Fault of Mine Damn, all of these songs are SO good. I always forget how cohesive this album is. LITSOS is my favorite overall UØ album, but DTGL has my favorite songs.
Me too. I gotta give this a spin after work and get back to you. I love this album, gonna be some hard votes.
Current Totals: Anyone Can Dig A Hole But It Takes A Real Man To Call It Home - 4 Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear - 6 Emergency Broadcast :: The End Is Near - 5 Breathing In A New Mentality - 5 A Fault Line, A Fault Of Mine - 8 The Created Void - 2
Too Bright To See - I have gone back and forth on this one but in the end I'm going for Too Bright To See mainly due to the end which I have always seen as a sequel to Some Will Seek Forgiveness. Breathing In A New Mentality - this is an annoying match up. Probably my favourite two songs here. I will be happy whichever wins. Breathing In is so good live and is probably my favourite Underoath opener. The end of Emergency Broadcast is something else though. Agony! A Fault Line, A Fault Of Mine - I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of A Fault Line until the end - but that last minute or so is oh so good. Aaron sounds so good on this album. I really like the end of The Created Void with the quieter bit. Very nice. ... By the way, I love this album and it's still their best in my eyes.
Yeah it's always struck me like that: "Good God can you still get us home?" contrasted with "Jesus, I'm ready to come home" in particular.
And I know it's up against Breathing In A New Mentality but I consider that no excuse for those people letting Emergency Broadcast go out first round.
Too Bright to See vs. Desperate Times is going to be a painful matchup. Those are the two songs that got me into Underoath so they both have a special place in my heart (even though I voted against Too Bright first round).

Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear has always reminded me a bit of As Cities Burn - the album Come Now Sleep in particular. Here's their setlist from last night: Underoath Setlist at Iron City, Birmingham I wish they were playing more from Lost In The Sound Of Separation.
Dig a Hole New Mentality Fault Line Too Bright Breathing a Fault Line Bright Breathing Void I don't know why I'm doing this right now I promise I have a life

Not gonna lie, I thought Emergency Broadcast would sweep and was everyone's favorite. Not too broken up about it though because Fault Line is the one I'm pulling for!
