I love that slow build up to the explosive "I stare at the wall, watching my time float away" ending, it's maybe my favorite Underoath moment. When listening to all 4 albums in a row for the first time (before Erase Me came out) that part stood out to me the most on first listen.
Is it just me or does anyone else thing that Desperate Times is the weakest song on the album? I still love it though. It's my favorite record ever.
I just pointed to breathing bc it’s a set list staple and seem to get a lot of praise around the threads as well, didn’t mean to draw a parallel between them being openers!
Idk if it’s the weakest (and I do love it) but the song I least wanna see live right now is too bright to see and it’s not even close.
I do love that song on the album, but I'd want to see that song live the least too. I'd rather see any other song on the album live.
This tour will be the first time I see them. I'm hoping the Erase Me songs are the only softer ones they play. I've seen Too Bright live on youtube and it does look cool though, like they bring out the extra drums and everything.
I feel like LITSOS is the first underoath album where Aaron truly shined vocally, and Too Bright is a great example of that. I really respect that song for that reason alone.
LITSOS is the best Aaron’s sounded on anything he’s ever done. Not knocking him on everything else, he’s just unreal on that record.
INRIgards to Myself. Also, LITSOS is their most overlooked album, and also their best. Aaron’s drumming is on a different level, his vocal hooks are his best. Spencer had really stepped up his game. The rest of the band also pushed the aggressive boundaries and it worked great for the album. Looking forward to the next round.
I actually did come to the conclusion recently that LITSOS is vocally Aaron's strongest and most consistent of their stuff. He has great stuff everywhere else but that album I think he really took it to another place.
@bachna84 I FORGOT TO REMIND YOU MY VOTES COUNT THRICE. WE MUST GO BACK. Also I’m still listening to Erase me daily. Y’all are gonna hear me screaming at the show from here.
