Moving For The Sake Of Motion. On the rest of the days, this is my favorite.
There Could Be Nothing After This. ELSGFH took me the longest to get into.

This round sucks. too many powerhouse matchups.

A Moment Suspended In Time (i think the ending of this song wins it for me. Always loved it)

Returning Empty Handed (This was the worst. These are for me undoubtedly two of the best songs on the album. Literally like pulling teeth)

Moving For The Sake of Motion (again way too tough)

There Could Be Nothing After This (the last one was the easiest again)

In Regards To Myself - the opener just edges it here. There’s a lot of good stuff about ‘A Moment etc’ but it feels more like an album track. But credit where credit is due - it’s still enjoyable - particularly the end!

Casting Such A Thin Shadow - this is a nightmare match up! My two favourites. Interesting that when this album first came out they weren’t my favourites at all! My tastes have changed a little.

Writing On The Walls - this was such a good choice for the opening single and as such still has a place in my heart. Moving is a fantastic song though. BRACE YOURSELF!!

There Could Be Nothing After This - another tough match up. I’d say these songs are pretty on par with each other. Incidentally I quite like the calming outro to There Could Be Nothing. Everyone Looks So Good is just an onslaught and in your face and I like that. Such a fine line between them!

 

A Moment Suspended In Time - Have always loved this song. The reversing of the singing/screaming pattern is one of my favorite parts of the album

Casting Such A Thin Shadow - Top three UØ song for me. No surprise it’s on the best group of songs from the album. Toughest matchup with Returning Empty Handed being one of the best song on the album

Writing On The Walls - Returning and Moving have always been so tied together for me that I’d always prefer Returning or Moving anyday So Writing will get the vote here

Everyone Looks So Good From Here - this song live is wild
