Also the inevitable matchup between In Regards To Myself and A Moment Suspended in Time is gonna make me real sad.

 

Hmmmm. I actually 100% agree with you and don't know why I called it an instrumental. I'm still surprised its in peoples top, but I love it so no complaints!

And yes Everyone Looks So Good From Here is the favorite I was talking about yesterday. And it got the match up it needed haha

 

Like if any song could do it, it would be In Regards. But like, I did not expect Whom to get crushed like that. Like the whole Spencer part is just fuckin phenomenal. And Aaron's beginning and end really cap it all off perfectly. I'm flabbergasted.

No yea, I thought In Regards would end up edging it out. But this is crazy.

 

This is maybe the toughest round I'll have this album, both are so awesome but for me Regards just rips from the second it starts.....you know, after the film projector noise lol.

Same haha, I thought Writing on the Walls was a fan favorite.

The chorus in you’re ever so inviting is a weak spot on the album and the bridge in WOTW is a top 5 UO moment. The rest of YESI is great but that should be a blowout!

 

i make ambient music. so shoot me for liking a band i respect trying their hand at it lol.

 

The guitar work in In Regards to Myself is too good. That opening riff is one of the most recognizable Underoath moments in their catalog for me.

 

It took years to grow on me. I think bc when the album came out is was too heavy for me and just sounded ugly. Love it now.

 

salmarnir is great, i totally get why someone would pick it over writing on the walls

 

it wasn’t even against writing on the walls, a track better than the one it’s actually against haha
