I enjoyed I’m With You, but all this Dave talk makes me realize I never really listened to One Hot Minute outside of Aeroplane lol

It amazes me that people like those first 3 albums

i don’t even really like this band but, yeah, those are another level of band. shoutout irons and slovak tho

“the great apes” is awesome and it took me a while to realize it lol

 

The most insane part is Californication being so low.

 

It amazes me how many people shit on them like they punted their dog off a bridge or something.

 

or like the singer is a pedophile who bragged about rape

nevermind the music sucking! i will listen to this tomorrow but, yeah, not expecting anything at all

 

californication gets heavy demerits for sounding way more like total shit than any record on earth

so many great songs on it obv

the reality of Anthony being a rapist is significantly worse than your made up scenario and is actually real life

 

Definitely need to look into the personal stuff more. Sounds like some wild shit. But from a musical standpoint, I'm 10 songs in and I'm enjoying this. Shaping up to be a solid album.

Im listening to the XM radio ttoday for the RHCP station. So far, Im digging it, but would definitely need to go back to their library - I was gone for a while and missed a lot.

Bummed out about this one. Only digging a few songs on first listen. Had high hopes.

 

A little more than halfway through. The only one who shines is Flea. Pretty disappointed otherwise.

Not even done with this listen and last two Josh albums are way better. This one is has me lost in the sauce.

 

this is a grower and also i think the second half might be better than the first

then again i love every single now barring "black summer"

 

can't get enough of "white braids and pillow chair" at the moment lol

 

I really enjoyed Josh's style. I know people love John, but I feel Josh got the short stick.... :/
