I’ve been itching to watch True Grit since I started playing

biggest complaint: the poker AI is fucking garbage and so easy to exploit

 

I decided to try to take out all the Braithwaites on a throwaway save file

Finished the main story now I’m just gonna start a new file and explore everything

 

The game is already getting depressing as hell with basically every new story mission halfway through Chapter 6, I can't even imagine what the ending will be

 

Hopefully not a microtransaction hellhole like GTA Online but I wouldn't be surprised if it is or at least becomes that way over time.

 

Back to the movie talk, watch Ballad of Buster Scruggs instead.

 

I found a collapsed oil thingy with a crushed dude under it. There was a ladder going down into the hole and for a brief moment, I was Daniel Plainview and it was wonderful.

 

In fact, when online goes live and i'm on with my mates, i'm just gonna stay in the hole the whole time shouting "BASTARD IN A BASKET" over and over until it really annoys them.

I don’t understand the gta hate. I never once used a microtransaction in GTAO and I never felt like I needed to either. If I ever needed money I would play the missions or side games for a little bit and be fine. I had two garages filled with fully customized cars, every weapon available, and all the clothes I wanted...


If RDR2 was the exact same format as gtao I would be thrilled I honestly.

edit: ah I forgot about the yachts and stuff that came around later in the game around the time that I stopped playing. That was definitely getting too far into microtransactional shit.

Format wise though I would love it. 25-36 other players running around the map at the same time is going to be chaos. Gotta stock up on horse revival.

 

I'm glad that online wasn't immediately made available. I would have spent too much time doing that and not enough playing through the story.

 

hunted the legendary bison. after i shot it three stars it fell into the water and sank and now i can’t skin it. incredible.
