Ok, randomly stumbling on a rival gang camp and one shotting it with dynamite is the most fun thing I've done in this game so far

This game may be too detailed for me.

I’m in mission 2 maybe and it took me 10 minutes to remember which horse was mine and the weird way of getting weapons in inventory confuses me greatly. Along with the slow/sluggish controls this may not have been the best game to start with after not playing any game newer than Fallout 3 since 2010 lol

 

I can agree with this. All this extra detail just makes everything less enjoyable. RDR1 was prob my fave game of all time, but this one just has too much going on where I literally can't decide what it is I want to do.

Also, hunting in this game is sooooo frustrating. Trying to get perfect pelts and all that shit. Just ugh. Why is it soooo fucking complicated!? Also, I do this mission where I break out my buddy from jail and I get $300 bounty on me. I can't pay it off bc I only have like $150. If I had the money to pay it off, I can't even make it to the post office without bounty hunters all over my ass. Killing my horse and me.

There's honestly more things about this game that have pissed me off than parts I have enjoyed.

 

i feel like if i invest a good 5-7 straight hours on this game i would be comfortable with the controls. i'm sure for most it won't take that long, but there's so many variables (it seems) for each button depending on what is happening i easily forget what i just learned

also, needing to hold the button for a second or two to get each option to take place bugs me but is also nice because then i don't make a mistake, but at the same it takes me 3 minutes to properly pick up a cigar off a nightstand.

 

Wow! It has been long time since you have played a game then. The weapon wheel is a pretty common theme in games now.

 

Fallout 3 was the last newest game i played before this one lol (aside from a few years of Madden)
