Just saw the band's latest IG post. Any idea what the story is with Dallas? Is he out of the band now?

So they would be down to 1 original member then?

Looks like they’re packing it in (either forever or for the foreseeable future). They just made a post about a merch sale that suggests that, anyways.

Given the lack of activity on their socials in quite a while I assumed this was the case. It’s too bad because I really dug their music.

    Huge bummer. Severely underrated

The post reads more like a "we just got done with tour and have leftover merch so we're putting it on sale" to me. Which is pretty common practice when a tour/album cycle is ending, especially when the merch is branded for the record (which most of this is). And there's absolutely nothing about them breaking up, taking a break, etc.

I wouldn't read this as anything more than them trying to offload merch. They're probably just trying to not have to put it all in storage. They'll probably be off the road for a hot minute but... That's par for the course for them as a band at this point, anyway.

If they were going on hiatus they would say so pretty explicitly, I'd think.

I was just thinking about this not long ago. They haven't seemed very active at all.

Ehh they’ve been completely inactive though. I think if they were doing stuff it would read that way. But “this is the last of our merch love y’all” definitely feels like a cleaning house for good situation to me

Plus I think The Briggs are active again, so Derek is probably doing that. And I think Garrett is somewhere in Canada now. Granted it was Covid, but the last album didn’t really do much for them as a band.

Yeah they haven’t done any social media or played shows in quite a while. This plus the band being apart (I remember the drummer took off somewhere) just seems to indicate they are done.

I just checked Reddit (dumb, I know) and it sounds like someone there was told by the band that they are on an indefinite hiatus almost a year ago.

Not saying it was a bad album. It just didn’t do enough (for many reasons I’m sure) for the members to be like, “we def need to keep this going as a full time project” given how much time they spent on the road leading up to it and then Covid. And that band was basically Garrett solo at the end, so it all kind of starts and stops with him.

Oh yeah I remember the drummer thing. They posted something about it. Like he just dissapeared and the band did not know where he was.

Red City Radio showed up in my Spotify algorithm and I liked the song that came up, so I decided to listen to Paradise. What a record! What a shame that this band isn't active. I love this record.

Is that your favorite record by them? I really loved the change-up of Fremont Casino on Paradise.

Yeah it is for sure, I know a lot of people resonate with the earlier stuff more, and I do like those records but I think S/T is perfect. Skytigers EP and Paradise are both really great too though
