No thread for this so I thought I'd make one. Absolutely beautiful show I would encourage everyone to check out. Its fourth and final season is set to air some time this fall.
Oh my I would say so, yes. It can be frustrating because one of the themes in season three revolves around families being torn apart until they are brought back together by the very essence of what broke them up in the first place, but that circular storytelling ends up being as emotionally resonant as anything that came before. The finale is lovely.
One of the best shows currently on television. Beautiful, thoughtful, wonderfully acted. I'm delighted we're getting four seasons out of it when its future has, at times, seemed questionable.
Not that I am surprised or bothered by it, but it seems we will most likely have an open ended resolution to the mystery of who killed Hannah. ‘Rectify’ Creator, Stars on Final Season’s Revelations
Precisely my thinking. I know a lot of fans are bothered by this, but that's never been what has endeared me to this show.
Too many people are bothered by whether Daniel did it or not. I know people who are afraid that he's guilty because it means they've been emotionally attached to a murderer for the duration of the show. The scariest thing for some is the realization that murderers are just as human as the rest of us. Which means even we are capable of such terrible acts. Regardless, I don't think the question will be answered, rightly so. That isn't the point. And if some are mad about not getting an answer, oh well.
Season 4 is premiering tomorrow, and I'm so excited! Such a great show, but one not too many people are familiar with.
Does Sundance put them up to watch for free on their website like AMC or NBC used to? Cuz I don't have them On my current subscription.
