Listening to a lot of Motion City Soundtrack, in prep to see them tomorrow. That band Owel is lovely also. "All The World's Asleep".
Therefore I Am- The Sound Of Human Lives on the way to work Another band with a load of promise the only put out one full-length. Sad.
I have been all about this band called Plans out of Indianapolis. They recently released an Ep and it's SO good IMO. They are playing a show near Dallas next week Super stoked to see them live. Also that new Moose Blood album has been on repeat the last few days.
A kind of local band from Indianapolis called Crunkasaurus Rex released a new single on Friday and it's pretty great. Check them out if you're a fan of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Four Fear Strong, any easycore band ever.
Saw Descendents play a great show the other day, so Hypercaffium Spazzinate has gotten a bunch of spins lately. Also the new Joyce Manor song sets up promises for another knockout album.
Playing with Portugal. The Man's Waiter & Church Mouth since the only album I've heard before was Evil Friends and I like those 2 a lot more. Currently trying Mustard Plug for the first time and starting with the first album. Only 3 songs in so no opinion other than I don't dislike it enough to stop playing!
Departures - Death Touches Us, From the Moment We Begin To Love Tiny Moving Parts - Celebrate Into It. Over It. - Standards
Celebrate is so amazing dude. Birdhouse is probably my favourite track, and you can tell that their sound has really developed over the past few years.
I've been really into Third Eye Blind's self-titled lately. I haven't made my way through the rest of their discography yet. Is the rest of it just as good?
Sunny Day Real Estate - How It Feels To Be Something On Slowdive - Blue Day EP Bought these records on a roadtrip and finally sat down to listen to them. Glad to finally hear high quality versions of that Slowdive EP.
Toe - Commit Ballad (from the album 'Hear You') If anyone doesn't know Toe, I implore you to check them out! Amazing kinda mathy Japanese band. They're usually instrumental, but the guest vocalist on this track absolutely nails it.
Bayside - Vacancy AJJ - The Bible 2 Honey Bucket - Magical World All three out today and I definitely recommend them!
