Been having a nice visit again with Julien Bakers beautiful 'Sprained Ankle' Still floors me. 10/10 Also been giving Say Anythings newest album another go.
Between yesterday and today I've listened to: Lydia - Paint It Golden Lydia - Devil The World Is... - Harmlessness Civil Twilight - Story of an Immigrant Jason Isbell - Southeastern Silverstein - I Am Alive In Everything I Touch The Summer Set - Everything's Fine Kacey Musgraves - Pageant Material Lotta great albums.
I haven't been able to stop playing the original songs from the Sing Street soundtrack since I saw it last week
i haven't listened to new music in a while. so i'm catching up... first off Sia's new album? Definitely a bit disappointing. i was hoping for something a bit more creative honestly. There are a lot of aweseome jams on her last album, and I'm not feeling it here... too bad. Sweet Design is the only song that caught my attention really. Move Your Body has potential to grow on me, and Reaper is great. I like Reaper.
Due to being put on hold during work last night, I have been fuckin' jamming to Sarah McLachlan's Surfacing lately.
Listening to a ton of Bruce Springsteen lately. Most notably The River, Nebraska, and the Chimes of Freedom EP. "Highway Patrolman" is one of the best songs I've ever heard.
Self titled debut by California (Jason White of Green Day) is so good. Also listening to the singles from the new PUP, Angel Du$t and Spirit Club albums a lot.
Just got around to checking out "Arranging Time" by Pete Yorn. Really digging this album, great for those summer cruises.
Beyonce - Lemonade Been really loving this album. Had to give it a rest out of fear of overplaying, songs like "Sandcastles" and "Love Drought" are unbelievably underrated. They show a lot of emotion & feel much more real than Bey's older ballads.
Just listened to Lorde's Pure Heroine. First listen in a looong time and really enjoyed it. Listening to it again.
Listened to Strangers to Ourselves by Modest Mouse again today. I still think it is a very good album that is marred by a handful of underdeveloped tracks.
Listening to So Long, Astoria by The Ataris right now. It's almost summertime so I gotta blast some summer tunes to get in the mindset.
Well England is getting it's 2 weeks of sun at the moment. This meant I gave Where You Want To Be its customary listen. Today I'll be listening to Motion City Sountrack on repeat.
Yesterday was a perfect day for The King of Limbs and Take Care. Today is a perfect day for Good News for People Who Love Bad News,
