Shakey Graves - And the War Came

Only Son is one of my favorite songs, ever.

 

Came in to say this. One of those records that immediately hits you.

 

every single time this has happened, a band reunited, so I'm hopeful, happened with Underoath, and At The Drive In.

 

Lowcountry, so good.

 

Listened to White Album on the drive into Brooklyn for that show and blasted Ground Me on the way back to Long Island. Fantastic performances by all three of them. The Casey/Andy harmonies at the end blew my mind, too.

 

Listened to portions of In With the Out Crowd by Less Than Jake and Future Hearts by All Time Low on a run today. Later today will hit up some new releases.

 

Just listened through the M83 leak. Gotta listen a few more times before I cement an opinion

 

I jumped on the M83 bandwagon today, can't believe it took me this long

 

Listened to Decensus for the first time. I'm not too into it and would rather listen to BSN. However, new Saosin has me pumped

 

I spent a rainy day driving around, listening to Julien Baker. So basically I spent the day crying.

 

The new Hammock record, Everything and Nothing, is mesmerizing and I hope it earns them new listeners because they certainly deserve it.

 

Just checked out The Body's new album today and it was great. Other albums I've listened to today:

Jimmy Eat World - Clarity
Thrice - The Alchemy Index, Vols. 1 & 2: Fire & Water

 

So much to catch up on.

 

I also listened to Deafheaven's New Bermuda today. Can't believe I forgot about that.

 

Listening to Tokyo Police Club - Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness, Pt. 1 - EP . I think I've listened to one other album by them at some point but forget it. Pretty light, fun listen

 

Pretty much the new Weezer record all the way

 

So many new releases! Did anybody like the new Deftones album at first listens? I don't really have too much time in the office today, so I'm saving "Gore" and M83's "Junk" for later, and while I need some background music I'm currently listening to new LIGHTS, which is not really my thing, but a pleasant listen so far.

 

Dissonance sounds like lullaby... now I know how fall asleep faster

Listening to "No Sleep Til Hammersmith" by Motorhead and it's awesome. This band was a freight train.

 

Just jammed the new Deftones and Culture Abuse. Both will be on my top 10 for sure

So disappointed with M83. Hecker was brilliant though.

 

Listening to Gore right this moment. Recently I’ve been into Yellowcard’s Paper Walls as well.
