Casey, listen to either Abraxas or III by Santana. The former if you want more hits, the latter if you want to hear them rock a bit more (while still having the same amazing jazz and Latin influences)

And random ass pick but Tracy Chapman self titled debut which was 1988 is amazing

Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life is a must. Fantastic quality on top of huge influence. Channel Orange is basically this album.

The live tour he did recently is one of my favorite experiences ever.

i was going to post this on friday but my weekend was a big haze because i was sick as fuck, but @cshadows2887 i listened to stones in the road and it was not what i expected based on the country tag. liked it a lot, really great songwriting there. i've been sort of "afraid" of some of your recommendations because i know what i generally like and what i don't and some of your picks definitely push against that but that one was definitely really good.

had a bit of a hold up this weekend but getting into a bunch more things today!

Hah isn't breaking out of your comfort zone a little part of the point of a project like this?

Haha nice. I did one of these threads a million years ago on AP when that LaLa streaming service was ending and it definitely opened a lot of doors for me into new sounds.
