    I do not want a direct sequel to this at all but I would a trilogy of very loosely connected stories in the Clint Dollars tradition would be kinda sick

    I loved this. Right up there with Green Room imo. Really a shame I couldn’t watch this in a theater.

    This was lean and mean and I loved it. I think the only Saulnier I’m missing at this point is Hold the Dark. Verdict was kinda meh on that tho I believe?

    Hold the Dark is messy but appreciably dark and weird for how straightforward the premise is so I would still check it if you’re into his other work

    Yeah it’s ranged from amusement and appreciation (Murder Party) to full blown love (Green Room) and Blue Ruin is certainly in between there.
