This is good. "Friday" was also a fun teen-pop song tbh, and she never deserved the absurd amounts of hate piled upon her.
Pretty into the new song, was also a fan of the one song she released after "Friday" called "Person of Interest".
New song is pretty good. Obviously she's very talented and never deserved what she got for Friday, there wouldn't be this thread without it and she really wouldn't be where she is now without it. Plus if she becomes mega famous, the crowd is going to go apeshit anytime she decides to play it live. Its some weird cultural phenomenon that people are going to straight up appreciate soon enough
She took the blame for a bad production company practically taking advantage of young talents like her. The whole thing seemed shady and kinda sad to me, even if "Friday" (as well as other songs produced by...The Ark? I forget what they called themselves.) was goofy fun. Rebecca Black's always seemed to have a sense of humor and humbleness about it all, from what I've seen. I'm glad she's made the best of things.
