Interesting note I guess, Cait said what made her really intrigued by me was how well I took it when she cancelled our first date. I mean I thought she was ghosting me that night but I told myself I was being delusional so I kept it cool. I was being delusional! Jus sayin.

 

I decided to refresh my Tinder (delete account) after something @dylan said and in the week or two which has followed, I've had 4 matches, 4 conversations happened, I have 3 numbers and one date. I'm pretty sure I could land a date with one of the others very easily too, but I don't want to commit to that yet.

What the shit is going on. Absolutely nothing for 3 months and then suddenly multiple interested parties?

you do. it's a noob boost. i think it's just the first 24 hours though. and then from there your placement in the stack is based on your elo.

 

When I briefly had tinder I had a bio something similar to hers. Not quite as brash at the top part but I had very self deprecating quotes about me. Some more were showing interest like “never shuts up about music” but def has ones like hers wish I could remember them specifically.

yeah, matches that you correspond with raise your elo since it's showing you are interacting and messaging each other and interacting with the app. matches that just sit there reflect either you aren't using the app or are not messaging your matches with the assumption that they were bad matches.
