Yeah I mean. That's pretty much how it would go .hah I've known her for 5 days but the connection is incredible. This is good to know.

 

My ex just came up to me at work (she works in a different department) and she was trying to rush by me without me noticing her/without acknowledging me, as we’ve been mostly doing since we broke up, but I was like “Hey Amber!” and she turned and smiled and said hi to me. Then she came back around and said hey if you want to know who I’ve fucked you should ask me, not other people. But the thing is, prior to asking some of my coworkers about her (there was rumors going around that she was hooking up with an older guy in her department) I asked her straight up is there someone else? This was right after we broke up. And she swore to me that there wasn’t and that it was just a break and that she wanted to get back together “soon/eventually”. Since then I found out she doesn’t actually know if she wants to get back together, and has been generally unresponsive when I text her. I get that it was kinda immature of me to ask someone else about the rumors, but I mean she really expects me to have asked her? She didn’t seem pissed or anything it was more like “Yeah I heard you’ve been asking about me”. But I tried to go up to her and say I wanted to just be friends etc so things wouldn’t be awkward at work when we saw each other, and she agreed and then continued to avoid my existence.

Idk just wanted to unload. I’ve been pretty upset the last month or so because of the break up and it’s just because I feel like there’s something she’s not telling me. There’s more to it too but it’s mostly just mixed signals from her and a lot of anger at me towards the end of the relationship, like the smallest things would set her off, and I feel like that’s a sign that she didn’t ever want to get back together. But then she swore up and down for like a week straight that she didn’t want anyone else, she just wanted to be by herself and not in a relationship, etc.

All of this is in addition to the fact that I don’t even know if I wanted to stay with her. I had several moments where I had the urge to break up with her but I stayed with her because I like the comfort of a relationship and the more I got to know her, the more I liked her. She was always so lovey dovey and passionate about me and then all of the sudden all of that passion was gone. It just fucks me up, like this girl I don’t even know if I wanted to be with breaks up with me out of pretty much nowhere, claims she wants me back, then goes totally AWOL and stops texting me/acknowledging me altogether, leading me to believe there’s a new guy she’s seeing/hooking up with, yet she kept saying there wasn’t anyone else until I couldn’t stand asking anymore. My gut tells me there’s someone else and I just want closure at this point. We don’t even talk anymore, and it wasn’t a long relationship or anything. But man this whole situation just fucks me up.

I feel you brother. This sounds like a good riddance situation. The way she is playing games she likely would just do that to you until you finally moved on. I remember one time I saw someone with a break up post on Reddit had a comment on the post that said 'Don't worry about the break up that means you get to fall in love again!' and that resognated with me so much after my break up last year. Time heals all dude. You should do everything you can to not even communicate with her. Something else will come along
